I always want to use a local, family owned dealership. I’m a fan of keeping local money in the local economy. This is why I choose to use Wakefield. There’s also a belief that the smaller dealerships will will treat you like a valued customer, not just another service ticket. Wakefield has always been able to resolve the issues I’ve had with my vehicle, and I’m thankful for that. It would be nice if their schedule was a bit more available and flexible. When my check engine light came on, I immediately scheduled an appointment, but had to wait 5 days to get it into the shop. Another frustration was the fact that even with a morning appointment, my vehicle wasn’t diagnosed until late in the day, this led to a scramble of needing to find transportation home that evening and the next day. I live 40 minutes away, so it gets tricky when finding out last minute I won’t have my vehicle back. This is where my last issue comes in, communication. I know this is an issue with most any dealership, but it updated would have been provided, I wouldn’t have been scrambling to figure out last minute transportation. Overall, I appreciate the level of work done by the team at Wakefield, just more timely communication would be helpful.

The vehicle delivery was impressively quick; however, key issues arose post-delivery. An option that was confirmed by the sales representative was missing, despite prior assurance it would be installed upon arrival. Additionally, the wheel caps provided were incorrect and had to be reordered. Initially, the General Manager did not acknowledge that the upgraded wheels should have included the specific black “GMC” logo caps. Further complications occurred during the financing process: the finance representative failed to deduct the deposit from the final paperwork and mistakenly charged for the missing option package. As a result, I had to return to the dealership—two hours away—to correct the paperwork and arrange for the missing option to be ordered and installed. Overall, the experience was disappointing. I recommend the dealership improve internal communication and verify all options and installations before involving the customer.

Oil change tire rotation new battery , I love the proactive recommendations for example “ your battery is low weak and likely to be very weak soon “. If that being the truth and I believe it to be, then I have avoided a future inconvenient no start in soon in the days weeks to come. So the nice lady very helpful. And gets things moving. Happy with visit and service.

1) Oil cap was not put back on after service. Thankfully, I discovered that 3 days later. 2) I did not receive a printout of the multi point service as I usually do after a service. After having our 9 month old vehicle towed to the dealership with a dead battery (it had been sitting in our garage for about a week), the service writer and staff were very courteous and professional. They were unable to find a problem with the battery or the electrical system. They suggested that moving the key fob near the vehicle several times in that period may have triggered some internal systems to drain the battery. And, more frequent driving may alleviate this problem in the future. I'm hoping that this will not happen again

Twice now that I've had my 2023 Trailblazer oil changed at your service department that I've had issues. The first time the oil plug was leaking, I took it to Parks Chevrolet to get it repaired. Then had my oil changed last week, left the dealership, next day the check engine light comes on. I took it back to Parks Chevrolet, thinking it's still an issue under warranty, the service tech told me that the plug was not fully tightened, and the dipstick was not fully inserted, that is why the check engine light came on. This is going to cost me over $100 and I'd like to seek reimbursement.

My vehicle was there for 7 hours and I never heard from Brandon. I had an appointment at 8:30am and called up there multiple times to check on my vehicle. Finally I came back up there 7 hrs later and they had just got back from the initial test drive. I was told they couldn’t feel anything and had no diagnosis, where clearly something is not right while driving. It’s not a good sign when an official GMC dealership can’t look and figure out the problem.
